The Sixmile Creek Status Report is available in high resolution (5mb PDF) and lower resolution (1.2 mb PDF) versions. This document provides the background information for the Sixmile Creek Management Overview (44 kb).

At a Sixmile Creek Partners meeting in 2005, several participants noted that most management practices in Sixmile Creek and its watershed are planned and constructed largely on a site-by-site basis and without the benefit of a watershed-wide management plan as recommended in the MMI report. Subsequently, the Partners met to discuss the channel behavior of Sixmile Creek and the role of large woody debris and to dentify major data gaps. The Status Report and Management Overview build on these efforts

Sixmile creek was delineated into 9 creek segments in the MMI Report. Numbering begins where the creek joins Cayuga Inlet.

Once an interactive map loads in the green square below, click on the stream segments to identify the approximate reaches and link to current projects or go directly to the list of segments. Image Credit
