Winners Chosen for 6th Annual Essay Contest

This year, the topic was "What's in our Water?". First prize in the adult category is James Murphy, D.C. (Romulus). There were 3 high school winners: Jesse McConnell (McLean) won 1st prize; Kristen Tauer (Ithaca) and Simon Horrocks (Dryden) tied for 2nd. The Annual Essay Contest challenges youth and adults to think about their role in protecting the valuable natural resources in the Cayuga Lake Watershed.
