The annual Dave Morehouse Award commemorates Morehouse’s contributions and recognizes others who are making a difference preserving our water resources. Morehouse exemplified dedication and action to protect water quality throughout his life, working individually and with groups, usually in leadership positions, to protect Cayuga Lake. A pioneer and visionary, Morehouse became actively involved in protecting the Finger Lakes long before doing so was popular. Nominations are open to the many individuals, businesses, teachers, agricultural producers and community groups working to protect the watershed. Call the Watershed Network Office for further information. (607) 532-4104.
