9th Annual Lakefest and Annual Meeting
The Cayuga Lake Watershed Network will hold its 9th Annual Lakefest
and Annual Meeting at at Frontenac Park, Union Springs NY on Saturday
August 26. A sumptuous picnic lunch will be supplied again this
year, and we will be entertained during lunch by Second
Wind, a folk group starring three women, with
help from a male bass player. The members are from small towns in
Ontario, Canada and the group specializes in a mellow sound. Three
of its members derive from Classic Folk, the group
which has entertained us the past 3 years at Lakefest. Wells College
has once again made a substantial donation to Lakefest for the lunch,
and Wegmans has also contributed to lunch for the 2nd year.
