Present: Sharon Anderson, Judy Morehouse, Julie
Patterson, Judy Pipher
Discussion focused on Lakefest. Below are TO DO items.
1.Wegmans – still have not heard back from letter sent by
Diane. Roxy – would you be willing to re-contact them concerning
this? Sharon will ask garden center to donate balloons if Wegman’s
doesn’t. Janet knows someone who might donate a cake.
2. Ruth Richardson will provide tent early – we will need
it before 11:30 . Julie may be able to borrow a small one, and Sharon
is trying to borrow one from Cornell.. Sharon will specify tent
locations.
3. Sharon is bringing supplies from office.
4. Sarah and Roxy should coordinate about circulating flyers in
Ithaca, Julie is handling east side, Diane Interlaken, Judy M north
end. Sharon suggested e-mailing Ruthanna re: posting flyers in T-burg
– Judy P contacted her by e-mail, no reply. Sharon plans to
take care of PR.
5. Door prizes – Judy P e-mailed a request to Tom Knight,
Judy M will request doorprizes from wineries and provide Ruth with
list of which ones she will contact, and will contact them as well
as Marina’s Restaurant.
6. Banner awaiting Sharon’s and Roxy’s return –
is it really worth it this year? Probably not. Roxy?
7. Judy P sent e-mail inviting Cayuga Nature Center and is continuing
to get displays organized. Sharon will invite the Sciencenter.
8. Judy P will contact Peter asking how long ice-cream maker is
on.
9. Julie will e-mail Wells and arrange to pick up containers of
water and ice from Wells.
10. Julie will stay on top of Board signups for tasks at Lakefest.
and will remind Board to bring cookies.
11. Need to provide to-do list for Brendan – for sure, pick
up Hickeys sound equipment and bring to site by 11:00am and help
Keith Tidball with signs. Keith Tidball volunteers to be in charge
of signage. Sharon is drawing up a list of what that entails.
12. Judy P provided Julie with condiments list and Julie will purchase
those. Paper and plastic ware purchased – list will be provided
for us to check off.
13. Surface model provided by Seth and groundwater model by USGS.
