Review Sharon Anderson’s e-mail regarding Lakefest items:
1. At the very least, we will encourage folks to take a ride on the Haendel via microphone announcements during Lakefest. (The Farmer’s Market is in view of Cass Park)
2. Roxy will serve as the contact for Dennis to follow-up on availability of a second boat. If one is ready, we will include it in the Lakefest activities.
3. Including prize information in the PR is a good idea.
4. Julie and Roxy felt that the prizes should be spread out as much as possible among attendees – we don’t know the best way to achieve this outcome. Perhaps one ticket per person. Or…this gets complicated: if a winning person is selected a second time, they don’t automatically get that prize. First, 1 more ticket is drawn to see if a ‘new’ person is chosen. If that second ticket doesn’t represent a new person, or if the holder of the new ticket appears to be gone, then the original ticket holder will get the prize.
5. Julie will donate a pair of hand painted glasses for a prize. Roxy will see if there’s any garden/pantry type item she could donate.

Essay Contest
1. Judy e-mailed that there is only 1 essay currently submitted. Julie and Roxy suggest the office re-send the Essay contest announcement emphasizing that the due date is approaching.
2. Roxy couldn’t readily find the Essay contest announcement on the webpage (maybe she missed it)
